Clothes Hangers With Crackle Ground Effect

I’m extremely excited because I just received a beautiful small decorative  pillow. It's stylish, delicate olive colour with an elegant bow at the top and it was the giveaway prize from Random Button run by the Not Mass Produced blog a couple weeks ago.

Laura is the owner of this creative shop and makes a great selection of bespoke fashion accessories and interiors. This little pillow perfectly matched my velvet sofa and I decided to picture my clothes hangers with it.

The hangers are a part of my small 'Old Country Roses Collection' and are painted in a vanilla bean colour and finished with a crackle medium and golden pigments.

Decoupage Clock - Artificial Marble And Decorative Painting

Everyone of us probably has a person they admire, someone who influences us or just gives us a kick to live. For me - decoupage is my kick. It stimulates my mind and awakens my imagination. I like relaxing with a paint brush in my hands and afterwards a glass of wine.
I have decided to try new technique. I took me a while to be ready for it, but once I was, I didn't even have to practise how to learn it - I just sat down and did it.
This is my first clock using a marble effect and hopefully you like it.

The piece is finished in matte, further highlighting the vintage style of the clock.

I decided to stay with grey as a main colour with a litte bit of purple and blue, and obviously this beautiful young little girl had peered at me all the time in thoughtfulness.

Patchwork Photo Frame - Vintage Home Decor Ideas

Patchwork or a pieced work is a very popular form of needle work by sowing together pieces of fabric so it makes a coherent form. For anybody who likes this form of work here I have a patchwork photo frame made with paper napkin.

The photo frames were the first objects I started to work with while learning how to decoupage.

This romantic photo frame can be a fantastic gesture for mother's day, anniversary or birthday.

If you want to see some more 'Decoupage On Wood' just type this phrase in the search box on my blog.

Shabby Chic Photo Frame - 3D Decoration

As far as can I remember there were so many decoupage works which came into being more or less attractive.
Majority went to the bin after a short time of anger and questioning myself why there were so many creases.
I am glad it never saw daylight. There was just one person who used to say ‘what you made is beautiful, don’t throw it away’ but my anger was endless.
This picture frame which I managed to finish not using decoupage came to mind randomly like most of my early craft work.

I simply used 3D structural paste which I had a chance to work with later on.
The frame is in shabby chic style. I have aged this using this style to show the signs of wear with red colour for the base and cream on the top.
Ornaments are in the shape of little delicate roses surrounding on each side.

Currently it decorates my former neighbour’s desk.
I was able to dig out only two shots from my old photo gallery.
I’ll tell you more about the shabby chic style soon in my 'TUTORIALS' category. I’m going to decorate three containers for spices.
At the same time you will see decoupage on metal step-by-step.
